It was an impressive comeback. I gave up on Dallas when they were down by 15.
"If you're going to do it, you're going to do it right," athletic director Jim Schaus said. "If we're going to put 'Wichita State' across our chest, then every team is going to matter."

They did the same thing to the Thunder in the last round.

Mavs bounced back, with Dirk playing with a 102 degree temperature to even the series back up at 2 a piece.

I nearly **** myself when Mike and Mike compared Dirks performance to MJ's flu game. Not even close to the same level.

            But impressive

I honestly don't care too much about the NBA (the traveling is ludicrous and I hate the bending over for the stars) but I'll add this from my limited viewing:

Dwayne Wade is better than I thought, and I thought he was top 50 all time.

Chris Bosh (sp?) is one sharp dude. Is he a high school guy? That lefty jumper is ugly, but he's a nice player and a hell of a sharp individual.

LaBron should be embarrassed with the effort last night. Standing in the corner, time and time and time again still makes no sense and with a total of 9 points in 48 minutes of 4th quarter finals action, I hope we never hear him mentioned in the same breath as the all time greats ever again.

This series should have been over in 4 games. 2 ENORMOUS choke jobs by the Heat have made it a series. And that's coming from a guy that wants Dallas to win.

What's the old record for missed 1 foot (or less) scoop shots in a series? I only ask so I know who Jose Berea has replaced on that dubious list.

Played one year at Georgia Tech. But he's a disco-dancing, Oscar Wilde-reading, Streisand ticket-holding friend of Dorothy, know what I'm saying?

Yea JJ is one of my favs, although he hasnt made a impact like he has with the rest of the playoffs. He is 1 small dude, but with a big heart.

Yea I agree, it was nothing like the MJ flu game, Dirk gutted it out though, and made a huge basket with 14 seconds to go.

Seriously though, more guys like Dr. Nowitzki. What a classy guy and a ridiculously, Hall of Fame good player, and now NBA champ.
