California preacher Harold Camping said Monday his prophecy that the world would end was off by five months because Judgment Day actually will come on Oct. 21.

Actually Camping is now saying that Saturday was Judgement Day and the world will be destroyed on Oct. 21 with the chosen being taken to Heaven. I did take a look at his prophecy and the math is fine. I do think his interpretations are a bit on the whacked and he is just pulling some of the stuff out of his nether regions.

What I was trying to get at was he and his followers made a big deal of checking their numbers and crunching the numbers to arrive at their date. The math is fairly simple actually and anyone should be able to follow it. I just can't wrap my head around the starting points and how they arrived at them. I've got several different versions of the bible and study materials and can't figure it out.
