Former NBA Player Robert 'Tractor' Traylor Dies From Heart Attack
BAYAMON, Puerto Rico -- Former Michigan star Robert "Tractor" Traylor was found dead inside his apartment Wednesday in Puerto Rico of an apparent heart attack, according to his current team, the Bayamon Cowboys. He was 34.
Traylor was the No. 6 overall pick in the 1998 draft out of the University of Michigan. He was famously traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the Milwaukee Bucks on draft night for Dirk Nowitzki.
Traylor battled weight problems during his careers, constantly tipping the scales around 300 pounds. He underwent heart surgery in 2006 because of an enlarged aortic valve.
