I'll take 3-1 against the Angels anytime. The pen was very solid. Crow and Collins with nice performances.

I am excited though for the minor league seasons to get going.

Suppan returns to Royals

KANSAS CITY -- After nine years, pitcher Jeff Suppan is back with the Royals.

Suppan, 36, signed a Minor League contract with Kansas City late Sunday night and will report to Triple-A Omaha, the Royals' top farm club, to be part of the Storm Chasers' rotation.

The intent is to get the veteran right-hander ready in the event the Royals have a need on the Major League club. He's also expected to be a positive influence on the young pitchers that the Royals have developing at Omaha.

I'd rather not have either one. But I'd probably take Kendall over Treanor. Kendall gives more with the bat which is something we need.

Sure is hard to root against Treanor though. Seems like a really nice guy.

Another win in the last at-bat, this time in the bottom of the 12th. And after Billy Butler tied the game in the bottom of the 8th with a 2-run HR.

This is a lot of fun but I'm not looking forward to when the law of baseball averages catches up to KC.

Royals playing well so far today. Up 5-0 going into the 5th. Francis is at 48 pitches with 32 strikes. Wish I were watching live today.

Looks like Tejada gave up a run. Stupid work is getting in the way of me following the game. Bottom of the lineup for the Royals. But His Mexellency should be on in the 9th to shut this down.
