I see the article has changed to "may" now.

I'm sure we'll be playing there as well. My thought, UNLV.

Honestly, I'm less mad about KU playing in Wichita, knowing that if USC is stupid enough to give up their home game and have it played in Wichita, more power to KU...basically means KU just used USC as a buyout game.

We know ksu & ku refuse to play us.
Why not try and make the best of the situation and see if USC would want to stay in town a couple more days and play WSU?
But I would bet ku has thought of this and will schedule the USC game during our preseason tournament...Marge: The plant called and said that if you don't come in tomorrow, don't bother coming in Monday.
Homer: WOOHOO! Four day weekend.

I didn't know USC was interested in Perry Ellis also.
That has to be the only reason they would give up a home game to play in Wichita.
Either that or Wichita has finally elevated itself to a 'destination' city on par with Las Vegas, Hawaii, etc. Where coaches and players all want to go to play.
Obviously, who wouldn't want to go to Wichita and eat them some Barn'rds. I know I sure as hell do right now!"When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

from what I can find, USC averages around 5,000 for home games. Why wouldn't they come to IBA, sell it out at $30 (or more) a ticket , and pocket the entire gate, especially since they're planning on getting thumped, anyway.
And Billy likes coming into City League territory and NOT giving the local team a shot at them.

The KU fans would love playing us. The problem cometh from above at KU. Here is the beauty of all of this. KU needs us more than we need them? If not, then oh well. We will be fine!!! Just finer than a frog hair. By the way. Who played better versus Nebraska and VCU this Season? WSU or KU? TSK TSK TSK!!!!!!!Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

you get the idea. Maybe even sit courtside!

This is total disrespect for our program by our sister schools.
If either one of them (or both of them) play in Wichita without scheduling WSU then I think we should NOT condone the activity by buying tickets.
I like the idea of a big protest of yellow and black clad Shocker fans out front of the arena before the game (hopefully so their bus can see it).
