      People still watch KSN 3?

They've been in a downward spiral for at least a decade. Guessing they're a very distant #3 in Wichita.

Now the update is that KSN's keeping the same crew for the 5 and 6 o'clock newscasts, and that they're just shaking things up at 10 because NBC gives them crap for a lead-in. No WAY they'd ever get rid of Uncle Dave "SuperFriend" Freeman.
Doesn't really matter to me, I quit watching 3 News when they got rid of their sports department, and didn't go back when they restored it.

I kinda watch a mix between 3 and 12. I will never watch the escapades at 10. That is some crap television there. I will occasionally tune into Jay and the gang for weather coverage though. They're not bad.

              Talk about left field...

              That is quite a shake-up..

I'm not in Wichita, but I rarely watch any local news.

I am surprised you boys and girls do. I would watch sports for Shocker highlights, but I can read about the cat stuck in the tree and the charity bake sale online.

If I watch news it is almost always local news for the weather and sports primarily. Rarely do I watch the national news and very rarely do I watch the slanted Faux national news or the slanted MSNBC liberal news channel.

In the mornings I usually watch Channel 3 news until the Today show comes on. In the evenings it is usually channel 12. Does Channel 10 have a news broadcast???

Yes, but the camera work is so shaky most of the time it's impossible to watch. Plus, the sports area has really started to suck the past year or two.

Channel 10 is the only local station that doesn't broadcast their news in HD.

No, neither 3 or 10 are HD, unless 3 is using HD cameras from the clearance section of Harbor Freight. It looks like KSNW broadcasts in SD at the aspect ratio used by HD (16:9) rather than the old school format (4:3). That doesn't mean the resolution is any better.

I think they used to do SD with the HD aspect ratio, but I heard recently that they were now doing HD. I think they do weather completely in HD.
