Individual Valley championships were held in Des Moines this weekend and the Shocks dominated.
WSU won all 3 doubles finals and #1 and #2 weren't even competitive.
In the singles, freshman Lutfiana Budiharto lost to last year's champion, Illinois State's Sarah Meghoufel, 7-5 7-5.
In 10 flights (7 singles and 3 doubles) the Shocks had 8 champions, 1 second place and 1 third place.
This does not count towards the All-Valley title but it provides some insight as to what to expect and that is an almost certain women's team championship.
