Coach Bolt reeling one in from the East Coast.. Amiya is a very interesting looking prospect. Not sure what Coach Bolt has in mind but we know he loves mult-eventers.

Maya's best high school times in the 100m hurdles and 400 meter hurdles were better than Kendra Henry's best colletgiate times (and Kendra was the AAC Heptathlon Champion).

Maya's best 400m hurdle time would have been 6th best in the AAC last year and her triple jump of 40-9.5 would have been 7th best in the AAC last year.

Those long legs no doubt help a lot in the hurdles and the tiple jump. Maya is 6-2 and 150 lbs. Not sure Rainbolt has had many that fit that mold.

Shocker sophomore-to-be Paula Garcia lowered her PR a bit in the 200m with a 23.95 in the prelims of the Spanish National Championships. She ran a 24.20 in the finals to finish 7th. she stays at #6 in the Shocker record book. She needs to knock off another .25 second to put herself into scoring territory in the AAC.

Redshirt sophomore-to-be Jacque Darby should be right there with Paula with redshirt freshman-to-be Taniyah McMillian hopefully close behind.
