Cooper's Impressive Outing Places Her on Weekly Honor Roll

The Granbury, Texas, native threw a complete game in Sunday's win at South Florida. Cooper allowed just one run on four hits and a walk, while striking out a pair. She recorded her third complete game of the season and the four hits allowed tied a season low.

Cooper improved to 5-2 and now has a team-best 3.75 ERA this season. She is the first Wichita State pitcher to earn a weekly honor in 2022 and fourth different Shocker to be named to the honor roll.

Most of the projected “bracketology” is leaving out both USF and WSU which isn’t good. Most of the ones I see show both USF and WSU as one of the first 5 out. I find that hard to believe that the AAC would only get one in, but we will see. A lot of season left.
