Shocks come back from an 11 point deficit before an exuberant crowd of 10,103, mostly Wichits school kids, to take an entertaining 80-77 victory over Texas State.
Granted this is the same Texas State team that K-State hammered by a 90-52 score this weekend.
Both teams seemed to be energized by the enthusiasm the kids brought to the game.
I like this game. A good way to build future Shocker fans. Nice marketing and they had an entertaining and fun game for the kids.
Nice to see the Shocks put some points on the board and to get some offense from someone other than Kiki.
Jaci lead the Shocks with 15 points. I think Kiki had 14 (all in the 2nd half). Then I was interrupted and did not catch the rest. I'll have to check the box score later.
