Heckuva interesting back story behind Natahs Fife's history with women's sports at Wichita State. Very glad to she her being honored as a Shocker Hall of Fame inductee. Talk about starting out with nothing.
When women's athletics started at Wichita State, the coaches came from the Physical Education department, filled out their rosters from the student body and drove teams to games in cars.
