That Sara Mac is more than a little photogenic! Especially when sitting next to Lambo.

Did I catch a little bit of colorful language from Lambo while he was calculating some of his stats at the beginning of the video! It's clear though that Lambo understands the math of Volleyball.

Good Luck in the 2nd Round Shocks! Give it all ya' got!

    :goshocks:

And he brought his own calculator??!! But apparently he hasn't read the owner's manual. :)

I think Lamb wastes regular season games so he can ambush NCAA tourney teams. I think he accepts service errors to improve the players' aggressive service games. Last night, WSU had 2 service errors and two service aces. But look at the SLU coach's comments after the match and at the PBP & color guy on the video feed. WSU's serving was getting SLU out of system. Lambo has other tricks and he scouts other teams well.

Did it look like the SLU players & coaches had been crying before the postgame media interview? I don't know about crying but I want the Iowa State postgame media interview to look exactly the same, with the ISU coach explaining why ISU errors led to the defeat (rather than WSU's play.) :D

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Nerves led to mistakes, mistakes led to nerves and each led to tears Friday for St. Louis University, which was upset 25-20, 25-21, 18-25, 25-16 by Wichita State in the first round of the NCAA volleyball tournament.
No doubt there were tears in the SLU locker room and understandably so. Especially with 5 seniors closing out there careers. SLU had Michigan on the ropes last year in the 2nd Round and probably should have moved into the Sweet 16. I'm sure they had high hopes coming into this regional.

I am also quite sure that if the roles were reversed that tears would have been flowing in the Shocker locker room. No doubt whenever the Shocks (who also have 5 seniors) finish up there will some tears flowing. Hopefully, they will be tears of joy but regardless of how the season ends it is always emotional knowing you have played your last college match. Maybe even a fan or two will shed a tear knowing that another great group of young ladies will be finishing their careers as Shockers.

In the mean time Shocks let's make some history.

                          • We're fighting well in this one. Our attack isn't getting much but our blocking is good and some ISU mistakes have us ahead 17-16.

                            • 22-22. Again, blocking is keeping us in it.
