Hopefully, Emily Stockman's ankle is healing, although I couldn't tell it bothtered her at all in the Missouri State match as Emily was outstanding.
Drake's VB program is improving and they gave UNI a very competitive match in Cedar Falls last week losing in 4 sets by scores of 21-25, 25-19, 28-26, 25-17. If the Shocks look past Drake to Creighton things could get interesting.
Creighton has played a pretty tough schedule this year and had a tournament at Stephen F. Austin cancelled due to Hurrican Ike. (Rice and Oklahoma were the other participants).
Creighton is very experienced with 4 seniors and 4 juniors on their roster so they will not be intimidated by the Shocks. Creighton also lost to UNI in a very competitive 4 sets last weekend by scores of 27-25, 25-20, 13-25, 26-24. (They actually outscored UNI by 94-91).
Unfortunately, I will be unable to listen to either match this weekend so I I am leaving it up to the rest of you to will the Shockers on to victory in what should be two interesting matches.
