But, unfortunately, we are from the MVC. For the life of me, I can't figure out how Colorado St. leapfrogged us and how Tennessee Tech is ranked higher too. So I could definitely argue for #14.

There shouldn't be any argument about Middle Tennessee being higher than us. They are always a good program and are also undefeated. They started in the poll a lot higher than us. In fact, they should be the one's complaining, since they are still undefeated and got dropped from 13 to 14 this week.

Colorado St. leapfrogging us is definitely more questionable. The have a loss (to #21 Pepperdine, who is somehow undefeated and has that win, but it behind Colorado St.). They got a bump from beating then #8 (now #11) Florida, but since Florida is probably overrated, they shouldn't have gotten that much movement up the polls for the win.

So who's #3? I don't follow the other state schools at all, but I'm assuming that one of the D2 programs is pretty good. Or the fan just thinks they're that bad.

And on the MVC ranked teams, hasn't UNI been in the top 10 before. They were really good a few years back.

Emporia State is ranked #16 in DII. I have no idea how they would rate against a DI like KU, but I am guessing they are who the poster was referring to as #3 in the state.

I doubt that a Division 2 team could compete with KU no matter how high they are ranked. Yes they have a lot to work on but please do not insult them with the comparison.
