The first 2 batters of the 7th hit the ball hard. A hard hit liner right at Cam at 1st base and a fly ball to the wall in left produced the 1st two outs. But then a routine grounder to 3rd ended the 7th and she looked by far the best she has tonight in the 8th. Shocks get a runner on 2nd with no outs in the bottom of the 8th but the bottom of the order fails to execute and fail to do anything after that. Cam Compton fails to get down a bunt and strikes out, Taylor pops out to short and Lainee grounds out to short. On to the 9th with weather moving. Line of thunderstorm just reaching Cheney reservoir but my radar shows them pulling off to the North.Comment

This time the top of the order that can't take advantage a leadoff runner courtesy of a Krystin Nelson single. Syd with a sac bunt moves Krystin to 2nd but Addison and Lulu follow with a coupe of cans of corn to left.
Credit to Wilkey and now she is past the toughest part of the Shockers lineup.Comment
