I am not sure this has been mentioned or not but there is one other thing about Addie's approach at the plate that is unusual in this day and age and I think is unique on the Shocker team for sure.
I don't think it is a big deal. But take a look at the picture above. What don't you see?
The answer: Batting gloves. I think Lainee Brown wears a glove on her left hand but not her right and I think all the other Shockers use gloves on both hands when they bat.
I guess we can rule out an NIL deal with a batting glove maker. But maybe someone should be in touch with the company who makes the brand and model of bat she uses.
