Since it appears Gabe is interested, he goes to the top of my want list.

For those that wanted a big man, this is my type of guy! High ceiling, defensive presence, 6-10. Possible Red-Shirt next year and back up EO as a freshman sounds about right!

From this article I take it to watch out for Oklahoma if the new staff offers. Iowa is a very strong possiblity but,

"Olaseni also holds offers from mid-major schools. Lindsted said it's not out of the question that his center would look that way.

"You have to look at all the options," the coach said. "He could go to a mid-major..."

The only thing is: You don't know whether he is referring to Coaches or players!!!

We know he's been to WSU recently so my guess is the Shox are the 3rd school. On a not so positive thought, I'd feel better if we had a a known open scholarship.

My guess is this: if we hear about a player leaving the team before Tuesday, I would bet that Gabe will be coming to WSU and wasn't listing us as the school out of respect for letting WSU announce the player departure before saying that we were considering signing another player. On the other hand, it may well be that Ede signing was our last opening and the mentions of a 3rd school are just about building drama for the announcement.

I pretty much agree here. Either we hear about someone leaving Monday or Ede was our last ship.

After re-reading this quote, I continue to wonder what's going on here. Also, coach Jans referring to it being "a good day and hopefully better..." makes me wonder if we didn't get two verbals? His tweet was Saturday morning. Per the Eagle, Ede verballed to HCGM Sat afternoon.
