I am John Jordan and I am the head coach at Adelphi Christian Academy in Aiken, SC. We have a strong varsity boys and girls team. We have had some good transfers from the GA/SC area and been fortunate to have some very talented foreign players enroll. We are a high school, no post grads or 5th year guys. We will play anybody though. Our schedule already includes the likes of Oak Hill, Mt Zion, Covenant Christian, United Faith and several more. Here is our roster below. If you would be interested in playing us, please contact me. We are also still looking for an after Christmas tournament. jjordan@adelphichristian.com or by cell 704-253-2006

The 3rd member of Sunrise Christian's team who has offers is Chavano "Buddy" Hield. He is a guard from the Bahamas.

The talent level is high and I was told if one sunrise player was to sign @ WSU, it would be a significant signing. In fact, one could help take WSU to the next level with the right pieces surrounding them.

Brehm Prep being close to SIU hasn't helped Coach Lowery. But thankfully we have Coach Marshall.

If you can't see what's going on at Sunrise, I can't help you.

Recruiting to Wichita,KS is difficult enough. There are now systems in place to get highly athletic recruits (with great character) from all over the world playing literally blocks away from campus.

Again, if you can't see what's going on at Sunrise, I can't help you.

And the one player would be?

Lawrence Fejokwu, Buddy Heild, and the topic of this thread. All three players are mentioned within this thread.

Add Franklin Uzonwanne, Darko Crnic, and Pierre Olof Kaufmann to the list of international players at Sunrise.

I'm not sure what this means? Help me with what exactly? Not once did I question the quality of these players they are bringing in.

I will be the first to gladly eat crow when a player being offered by one of the big boys chooses WSU instead because it's right down the road from where they are spending one year of their lives.

Again I think WSU should pursue but to think it's some serious in because it's in the same town......well that theory has yet to be proven.

If I were a college coach right down the road from Sunset Christian, thier coaching staff would be some of my best friends.

Is it really that difficult to see?

After all the challenges of getting EO on campus, what do you think was learned about the process?

Sure, we didn't land Raphael Akpejiori but it was down to us and Miami, and it was a difficult decision for the young man. We could have had Leon Cooper but we went hard after a few other guys.

                          It's a pipeline, just watch...

It's extrodinarily easier to see a foreign junior with talent, bring him to Sunrise, and hope he choses the Shockers than to recruit a foreign senior and hope his government doesn't crush him! For the effort that was put in to EO, the Shocker coaching staff can bring in 10 recruits to Sunrise and grab one.

Not sure how many of these guys will end up being DI stars, but they are going to be one hell of a high school team!

Again, when one of the foreigners turns down one of the big boys for WSU I will joyfully claim what a moron I am.
