E. Victor Nickerson - SF, Class of 2011

From the last posted Rivals link, an interesting bit of info. Nickerson plays the 1 thru 4 in high school. All of the teams on his final list are recruiting him as a 1 thru 3.

Nickerson will announce his decision between WSU, Charolotte, DePaul and Colorado on October 30th after contacting all the schools.

"It's going to be a tough decision. I will go with my gut feeling, go with my heart."

25%. I think he will pick Charolotte because of his relationship with that staff.

edit- Let me add I think we have a better chance for Miles who will decide in a couple of days. If Miles does pick us, which I think he very well may, that might make it difficult to take Nickerson.

Less than 25%, Trop is right although don't count out DePaul.

I'll say this now about Nickerson vs Miles. Miles' stock had been going down somewhat while Nickerson's has been climbing.

Quick question. I know that this has always happened to some extent, but it seems like there's more public talk nowadays (or at least it's being reported on more) about talented players banding together to attend the same school. Is that right? I think I have James, Wade, and Bosch in mind on the professional level, but how much do McDonalds All-America recruits try to get their buddies to join them to create "dream teams"?

I think there is much more reporting on recruiting than in the past. One recruit influencing others even happened at WSU long ago with AC and friends.
