I'm kind of suprised that Providence is still in the picture since Keno got the boot. The SMS fans are really high on this kid.

Will he pass up the Big East even though he might be playing on a doggy team?

The article came out today but information for it was probably obtained a little earlier.

This is a kid I wouldn't mind landing if we do have an opening and I'm guessing we definitely have one.

With 4 quality starters now gone, SMS is looking to get excited about something. Although they do have the POY in Weems coming back, their recruiting efforts have been ok, but not not wow.

Their elite signee, Christian Kirk, 6-7, 190, PF from Kickapoo, MO HS was ruled ineligible to play his senior season after he transfered from St. Charles West HS.

Dorrian Williams, 6-3, 175, SG from Douglas, OK HS averaged 13 points, 4 rebound, 2 assists & 3 steals.

Andrew Wilson, 6-7, 200, PF from East Central, OK HS is a scorer and rebounder, who should help MSU right away.

The Bears let sCUm get a recruit from under their own nose. Avery Dingman is 6-6, 210, SG from Branson, MO HS. He will probably end up a two-time ALL State performer averaging 23 points/8 rebounds a game this season.

They need a signing like Richardson. Although Martin's BCS stock would soar with an at-large bid, which is very doubtful, I am sure he has one eye and both ears locked and loaded for any offer out there. This would be as good a time as any to leave. The Bears could very well finish out of the top 3 in the Valley next year.

If I remember correctly he hasn't made his trip to MSU yet.
              Postponed due to bad weather.

If it comes down to SWOMO and us, the kid would be wise to wait and see about all the coaching changes.

Bears still have 3 ships to give. Kirk and Wilson are exactly what we need because we have zero depth at the 4 right now and it will allow Kyle to play the 3 some next year. Both are very athletic and have great motors. Williams is a strong guard who will be very good defensively from day 1 but will need to learn shot selection. I believe the plan is Washpun, Richardson and best available juco...if no Richardson then Washpun and best 2 jucos.

Yea, you don't want to go into the season with Cooper as your point guard option. Chemistry will be a huge question mark.

Although Weems proved to be the best player in the Valley this year, the chemistry of leadership really needs to come from the backcourt.

With the loss of the leadership from Leonard, Ricks and Mallett, you can't just wish it in the form of new juco players. We never replaced Clevin Hannah's leadership this past year which cost us winning the league.

I'm sure Martin exodus rumours are, and will, fly high over the next few weeks, much like here in Wichita. As much as the Bears have to make up, it will be interesting to see how it shakes out. I don't see MSU as a top-3 team. Just too much lost.

Agreed chemistry, leadership and even roles are very important and this year those were the best things about our team. Top 3 will be tough but I will be surprised if we fall down into the bottom half.

The fact our coaches are getting talked means they are doing something right and is part of it at our level. Zo will get around a $200,000 raise after the season is over and hopefully that will be enough to keep him here a little longer.

Sorry I didn't mean to hijack the thread just like talking hoops instead of worrying about all the bubble BS.
