  • Joshua Richardson to Tennessee

Richardson is a 6-5 SF at Santa Fe High School in Edmonds, OK. He was one of the top players at the Future 150 National Camp in Atlanta and was labled a high major prospect. The Shockers and Baylor are interested.

Still in with Richardson, who must've raised his stock considerably.

In addition to Arizona State ....

" ... Wichita State, UCLA, Georgia, Baylor and Alabama have been talking to me a lot,” Richardson stated. “Oklahoma kind of came into the mix about a month ago ..."

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

        From Rivals

Joshua Richardson had a standout performance at UCLA's Elite Camp.
Joshua Richardson, a 6-5 class of 2011 wing guard from Edmond (Okla.) Santa Fe had an outstanding day and was thought of as one of the best players at the camp, if not the best. BruinBlitz.com talked to him briefly and asked him for his schools. He told us that he is down to Arizona State and UCLA. BruinBlitz.com believes that he will be a Bruin and the amount of attention he got at the camp makes us believe that the coaches think along similar lines.

There's been many recent articles about Richardson. None of the others confirms he down to two. This Scout article says he has a top 7 but lists only five of them: Arizona State (offer), Baylor, Georgia, UCLA and Missouri. It is also the only article that says he has other offers besides Arizona State's. According to it, WSU has offered and he also has been "offered" by Harvard.

Offers: Arizona State, Creighton, Harvard, Wichita Stte, Missouri State, Oral Roberts, Mercer and SMU. Strong interest from Western Kentucky, Georgetown and Oklahoma.

He has strong interest in Creighton and may visit along with WKU according to the WKU Rivals' article. However it is likely he will wait until Spring to sign. He has fallen from a 4 star to Rival's 121st ranked 3 star player.

Doesn't have a top 5. He is interested in 9 or 10 unnamed schools.

Rivals' article of a couple of days ago mentions WSU, TCU and Northeastern as being the lastest to offer Richardson. Ole Miss also is in the mix. Perhaps he is one we will be trying to get if we have a Spring opening.

Because some believe if you don't play a lot as a FR you must be worthless and should be removed from the team... T-Rich will be a fine player for the Shox. Maybe just a role player but there's nothing wrong with that. You can't have a team full of superstars.

Fine player is ok, but we need more. He does not have the size or athletic ability to be a 3. He can fill in as a back up but we need a three that is ready to play immediatly when Smith leaves.

And Graham Hatch did as a freshman?

Even if TRich doesn't develop into a starting SF, you still need depth there.
