I wonder why he chose Buffalo over any of the other schools.

If he cannot think any better than that, we can do without him.

Since his previous choice was Cornell, I'm guessing it might have to do with the academic programs at Buffalo, not the athletic ones.

He was impressed with Buffalo's resort management program.

Pepperdine is a fantastic academic institution, but I hear what you're saying.

We, more often, hear about Coastal players that commit to an inland school, only to transfer later to ones on the coast, particularly East Coast more so than West Coast, but I think it would be interesting if someone could report, in chart form, etc.. on Midwest type players that go to a coastal school and later go back to a Midwest School to be closer to home.

I know AJ Hawkins is one of the latter group, but as a whole, I would like to see those numbers.

              Buffalo? Resort Management?

Where do the students intern? Niagra Falls?

                Resorts

You laugh, joco, but in the 2007 AAA Tour Book for NY, which I happen to have because of a trip, the listings for Niagara Falls (both the US and the Canadian side) cover 66 pages.

If Johnson County were that busy, a school like UMKC might be able to run a resort management program that would make it easier for them to recruit.

Being so close to Branson, The Ozarks, Eureka Springs, and with a Casino in close proximity in the future, I'm not so sure we shouldn't offer that at WSU.
