This highlight shows "put it in the block or dunk" describes him quite adequately.
"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:
--------------------------------------- Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare: "We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said: "That's the definition of a stool sample."
Comedy gold there. Talking about our coach instability. Coming from a school that is on their 4th coach since Marshall started at WSU.
I'm not going to hate on their fan base... It's not that bad what they are saying after losing a recruit to us. In all honesty.. They haven't done a whole lotta means since Brad left anyway. But I still think Butler bulldogs are a good program but we are better currently

I don't know, whenever I see a school's alumni base claim their academics are superior and that another school is academic trash it rubs me the wrong way. I wonder how many of their alumni received job offers to work for NASA. I can understand arguing school prestige only when it involves an Ivy League school, Stanford, Northwestern and maybe one or two obvious others.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....
.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

not to mention the acedemia is secondary to most of these players. With some schools like Stanford, Duke, etc., this might be true, but it’s a weak argument for most schools.

We must have gotten a great player for them to get that butt hurt about it
Glad to have the young man aboard. I see him as a rotational guy who will get plenty of minutes at both the 4 and 5. Three down, three to go. Would sure like to see us land BPJ and ALo as well. Watching Twitter, it would seem we might know more about ALo sooner than later, but the pressure is mostly coming from his peers.

I saw one post that was halfway to making a decent point but they didn't quite get there. They said Udeze probably won't go to the NBA so he needs a degree from a good school. Udeze might not go to the NBA but pretty much every scholarship player that graduates from WSU has the option to play for decent money in Europe. Udeze has made it clear that a big part of his recruitment was being developed and getting better as a player. WSU is probably a better fit than Butler for a player wanting to play professionally.
