Actually there are a lot of people on the Memphis board awhile back who were debating who was better - Harris or Lomax. Both Memphis area smallish PGs. If we get one of these guys I'd be ecstatic.

This kid is currently my most coveted recruit for 2018. He's a player and appears to have solid basketball IQ. I really hope he gets the chance to visit soon before he decided to commit elsewhere.

Luckily there are more fish out there, but I want this fish.

Seems like every couple of weeks, when a new update comes out, it's the same schools mentioned... and Shox aren't one of them. You would think if RB was making an impact, we would get a mention! Time to focus elsewhere.

As much as I would love to have this young man in the yellow and black, it's articles like this that lead me to believe he's not being courted as strongly by 3G and staff as much as we might think or want.

We've got another very talented young PG prospect from Memphis coming into town this weekend who may have the staff's real interest. At least he is very public about his interest.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled to have Tyler on the team and would rejoice indeed if he made an announcement aligning himself with the Shox. I just don't believe that will be the case.

Obviously the coaching staff has a far better idea of who they have the best shot at and and who they are most interested in. They are going to put most of there efforts on those targets. Whether Tyler Harris is in the group or not is hard to say but it doesn't appear to be the case at this point.

I'm never amazed at how little we fans (okay, some of us fans) actually know about who the staff is targeting. Offers are one thing, but the contact they have with the recruits and what they say is clearly something we'll never fully know. But it sure is fun to speculate, dream, wish and salivate over the possibilities about who might be landed. One thing is for sure, there is an increasing possibility of landing more than one highly rated recruit in any given year and we can be sure those athletes are going to play angry quicker than some of our earlier recruits.

IMO if we can't even get him away from Iowa St. I doubt this last push Memphis is making will really make a difference. It doesn't really seem like staying close to home is that big of a deal to him and Memphis doesn't really have much to offer other than that.
