I can't imagine why any of these 17 to 18 year old kids would develop a bit of a diva attitude. I mean you would think that they are being followed all-over the country by very well-paid men, some traveling in private jets, who tell them how great and wonderful they are. And then your might think there are fans of the employers of some of these men who set up message board threads about you that follow and disect every word you express and express great sorrow and grief if you hint that they may not be at the top of your list. Thank goodness that isn't the case or these kids would really have big egos.
Perhaps this just shows how special some kids like Fred, Ron and Landry really are.
The kids that fail to adjust to the Shocker Way are usually not here very long.
All that said I'm not ready to write-off Mr. Harris just yet. However, if he goes elsewhere then the Shocks so be it. There is a ton of talent avaialble. Finding the talent along with the character seems to be what 3G and staff are pretty good at but even then they have the occassional misfire.Last edited by 1972Shocker; July 24, 2017, 07:28 PM.

Regardless of his interview abilities, the bottom line is he's not speaking too enthusiastically toward Wichita St and that's my barometer FWIW.
Not questioning his abilities or BBIQ, just doesn't seem to be all that excited about the possibility of being a Shocker.

Tyler has impressed me & won me over. Was hoping we would miss on him when his name first appeared due to his size. I still have several other point guards I would rather have personally (if the decision were up to me). Losing Marquise something from Three Rivers Junior College to Gonzaga several years back taught me not to worry. The coaching staff ended up recruiting Joe Rangland & come out with the better player.
Have every confidence we will come out with another great player at this important position. Our staff always keeps shaving and finding great talent.

It's interesting how "prized" recruits become someone we never really wanted or someone who would not have "fit" the moment it appears we may not get them. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Would love to have Tyler if he came. First line shares that he won me over with his blend of speed and shooting skills. I do like Serrel Smith or the young athlete from Canada (that is listed as a point & rumored to be liking us). Have only seen highlight tapes which are meant to show your best plays. Liked the way Landry matched up with Dayton & Kentucky in the NCAA. If you can find the basketball IQ & skills in the big guard. Austin Reaves is this type of player if he is able to stay healthy.
Most of the players we are offering are "prized" recruits from the offer lists I am seeing. As coach Marshall has stated publicly, the best recruit is the one you can sign. Tyler does appear to be headed to Ames.
