I was just making a joke. If you have read Dr. Suess, then you will know I am referring to the Whoville land not KU-ville.

I thought Whoville was a reference to Louisville.

forgive my naivety, but is now the time that recruits would be committing? What seasons are the "signing" seasons, predominately? Thanks in advance, friends!

The signing periods are in November and April. Recruits commit during all times of the year, but you will probably start to see an uptick in commitments around late September and early October as players start to realize that other recruits may take their scholarship at the school of their choice. WSU will probably try to sign 5 or 6 players in the fall signing period would be my guess (Isaiah Chandler gives us 1).

                  Tyler Harris

I was in CKA yesterday hoping to catch a team scrimmage. It turned out there is a kids basketball camp going on now & the players had lifted weights earlier in the day, so the word was that it was unlikely they would scrimmage after 5 then. However, when I was in the Multipurpose facility, I saw a WSU assistant coach there with a kid around Tyler's size who had his mother with him. I wonder who that might have been, but I didn't think it appropriate to ask. I did ask the coach if Roderick Brown is a power forward or swing forward & he confirmed he is a swing forward. If it was Tyler Harris standing there at the time, I'm sure he heard me ask that question. Whoever it was, they will want to watch a team practice, so it seems likely that may occur today. I had to be a practice which the coaches supervise as you all know, and that is allowed 2 hrs a week this time of year.

In all seriousness, I believe Harris was quoted as saying he is thinking about taking an official visit to WSU sometime soon but nothing had been scheduled. So I'm pretty sure the young man you saw was not Harris but more than likely another possible recruit on an unofficial visit.

Sounds like he is growing (listed as everything from 5-8 to 5-11). Given the tendency for guys this height to struggle on D, I wonder how well this guy defends. He may need time to develop his defence at CKA.
