This guy is NOT a Shox scholarship player. I have good inside sources on that and I think he's a guy that will end up at a D1 level but not the level we are recruiting at. Don't want to knock a recruit but I have very good inside info on this guy.

Much closer to Bennett Koch tham to Dean Wade.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

It appears that Gregg values Heiman more than some Shocknetters do. Since he has watched more than a couple of 20 second youtubes, I will take his evaluation over ours.

They noticed their own error and quickly replied to their tweet with the correct spelling.

Maybe they're taking another look to see if there's been any improvement.

I think his day visiting recruits across the country coincided with contact days where coaches can visit with recruits. That is the only reason Gregg would value Kountz, Thamba, Heiman, etc. I would not think he wasted a day when can personally visit with recruits on a trip to evaluate a recruit but I may be wrong with my analysis regarding Gregg's intentions but I would think his visit would show how he valued their talents and he wanted to evaluate their character and inter-personal interactions.

That is nice to know. However, I only made the comment after I had noted, on another recruiting thread, the exact same misspelling from the exact same source.

At least they were consistent in making the mistake, I hope they were consistent in correcting it.

To be fair the tweet indicates that Wichita State was in the building, so it could have been an assistant. If 3G is mentioned in the tweet (as he was for at least one other recruit) then it could be an important distinction.

Still, I agree that the staff is clearly interested and keeping close contact.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

I didn't see the tweet you are talking about. I got the information from this board. However, my understanding was that this time coincided with a contact period (those periods don't last long and are not frequent) and if that is true, whoever (Asst. Coach, etc.) wouldn't be wasting a contact time to evaluate a recruit imo.
