Notable players on the other team include Mike Gessell former Pg at Iowa and Akon-Purcell who did not play coaches decision. Also they had a 7'2 center that played at Oregon. I think it's a huge bonus to play against that level of competition.

          • Asbjorn is one of nine players in the league averaging better than 8 ppg and 7 rpg. He's the only on the list who is under age 24 and he's doing it in the fewest minutes per game (20.2 mpg).
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

            • I keep trying to temper my expectations about AM's possible impact next year (and I know I should) but these reports make that kind of difficult!

              • My expectation for next year is basically half the time and half the stats.

Yeah totally! Leaning towards thinking this guy may be a plug n' play type player from the get go.

                    • Shaq, Nurger, and Willis will all still be here next year. I'd say don't expect to see too much of him next year. Will probably be starting the following year since all those guys will be gone.

                      • I expect him to be the 3rd center behind Shaq & Rauno to start the year. I think Willis will play the 4 almost exclusively.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

                        • Isaac Humphries (in his So year) is averaging:

                          9.9 minutes
                          3.7 points
                          3.8 rebounds
                          0.8 blocks
2.0 fouls (that's one foul every 5 minutes!)

I think we can expect similar production from Miitgard in his Fr year. Some here thought getting Humphries would be the "blow the roof off" recruit. I think we're getting a better player.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

                          • Oh yeah...for clarification...I don't think he starts next year (due to who's ahead of him)...but a guy who can come in and give solid contributions. Unlike a Hamilton his freshmen year if that makes sense.

Better player with more experience and less diva.

                              • From Paul Miller to Stutz to EO to Rauno, have we ever had a big man come in and make an impact first year? My money is on mop up time. Could have a huge career here, but history says it won't be frontloaded.
