        • Really looking forward to this guys addition next year. Have a feeling he'll be a bit more "polished" as say a Stutz or Nurger when they were Freshmen. Add in going against ShaQ in practice next year and we might have a legit center big going into next years March Madness throwing everybody a curve ball!!!

          • With the talk on unrelated threads about Midtgaard, it may be worth noting here that the Great Dane is two WEEKS younger than McDuffie (who will be a junior next year) is. How that translates into basketball readiness we won't know for a while, and big guys sometimes take a little longer; plus, McDuffie is an exceptional athlete.

Still, even with his relatively late start to the game, Asbjorn will not exactly be a puppy when he gets here.

              • Just so long as you don't accuse me of plagiarism, ST -- I actually looked him up on Eurobasket (and McDuffie on goshockers) myself.

                • Horsholm beat Svendborg 86-55 this afternoon.

Unfortunately it appears that Asbjorn did not play.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

Asbjorn was perfect from the field earlier today with 14 points and 7 rebounds.

Played against former Creighton big man Will Artino who had 9 points and 9 rebounds

                          Well that's discouraging.

                          • I'm not discouraged. Artinomust be 25 years old and playing the best of his career. Much more competition than a high school Center who in Wichita would probably be 6'5.

I think it's very encouraging. He had more points almost as many rebounds and shot a much better percentage against a guy who played 135 division one games and he is 5-6 years younger at least. The fact he playing against former d-1 players every game should help him immensely.

Yah, but I heard Artino kicked his butt at HORSE after the game.
