Ntambwe, who at 6-8 can play some point forward, said Wichita State, FSU, Kansas, and Cal have also been on him recruitment wise

Providence appears to be expressing the most love for versatile 6-foot-8 Joel Ntambwe. Cooley has been consistent since Nov.

Joel Ntambwe has Providence as likely leader. Tennessee, Arkansas, Wake Forest and now FSU in the mix @FriarsOnScout @pcbbCWO @fsuhoops

"Ed Cooley is one of the best coaches. He is a personal motivator. He cares about his players as people first." -Ntambwe

Choosing WSU over Kansas would put you high on my list of Shocker favorites without having to play a minute of basketball.

WSU is still active in the recruitment of Ntambwe. Here's an update: http://zsmart.blogspot.com/2017/06/e...l-options.html

Wow....just a year ago I was used to seeing things like "Down to a final four schools of WSU, Wright State, Providence and Washington State". How things have changed #AAC

Transferring from UNLV after Marvin Menzies firing. Had a pretty darn good freshman year on a mediocre team. Could potentially be what this team needs at the 3/4 next year but not sure Gregg will want someone who has to sit out a year.

Complete career NCAAM stats for the Texas Tech Red Raiders Forward Joel Ntambwe on ESPN. Includes points, rebounds, and assists.

A hardship transfer request is a sure-fire way to get him in next years class!

Absolutely, Woog -- just like Teddy! (Although in this case the coach being left behind is no longer there himself to try to get in his way, so there's that.)

Sits out a year and joins with this year's incoming freshman class. They'd be fine if Gordon can play right away.
