  • Roman Wilson 6'9 PF/C 2019 Offered

Limited information on this kid. From what I could find he went through a huge growth-spurt before his 8th grade year. Spent last season (his freshman year) on the JV squad at his high school. K-state has also offered from what I can tell.

So when they play 'Nebrasketball', do they use a ball shaped like a cob of corn?

Actually, it looks like a football from a hundred years ago, which is probably why basketball has had a hard time catching on in Big Red country.

          Just remember this slogan:

At the University of Nebraska, the 'N' stands for Nowledge.

Oh, and they don't use artificial turf because the cheerleaders actually graze during pre-game and halftime as well.

I always believed the "N" was supposed to stand for "N-o-cent"

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

2019 Kansas City F Roman Wilson is a rising national prospect who has tons of upside and athleticism. Highlights from the 2016 Kansas City Fall Ball Showcase.

                  From: https://www.prephoops.com/2017/01/125493/

"At 6’9, 210-pounds Wilson already he holds three NCAA Division I offers despite picking up the game as an eighth-grader and spending his freshman season on the junior varsity."

"Wilson is an imposing figure defensively in the paint, and at the offensive end of the court he shows a nice shooting touch out to the 3-point line as well as the ability to finish with authority."

"Wilson currently holds offers from Kansas State, Wichita State and Tulsa, and has* drawn interest from several high major programs, including North Carolina and Mizzou."

Here's an article that ran this weekend on Roman's rise through the AAU ranks. He'll be playing up with 17u Mo-Kan Elite this summer. Looks like WSU got a huge head start on a player that should end up in the top 100 of his class.
