I agree, but i think we have a big fall off when Clevin goes out of the game. IMO Reggie Chamblerlain has been a huge disapointment this year.
I think it will get to a point where Murry will be the #1 SG and #2 PG..especially if Kyles can continue to improve. Truthfully I would rather see Murry as the PG and Chamberlain as the SG when both are in the game. Murry doesn't have the A/TO ratio that Hannah has....but then again it's probably arguably a little better than Chamberlain if you could calculate it for the amount of time each player actually runs the point. I don't think it drops off too much when Murry runs the point behind Hannah. And if Kyles continues to improve then we will see Murry/Kyles in the game alot IMHO.

    • In 2 seasons, we are going to torture opponents with Kenny, Toure, DK, and AE pressing with Ehimen protecting the basket.

It will be a 40 minutes of hell revival.

        :D

Now those will be happy times. A more athletic team the Valley has not seen in some time.

I hadn't considered that particular lineup. That would be a pretty good pressing lineup. It seems it would also be a good rebounding, ball-stealing and transition-game team.

Marshall told us from day 1 that he wanted to play tough D and get transition baskets. We're starting to see how he plans to do that. Marshall seems to be recruiting quick, athletic guys who can jump. He'll teach them D. If they're not that skilled on offense, the half court game might suffer, but 6 or 8 break-away dunks a game makes up for a lot of offensive defincies.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

              • we haven't seen the shox pick pockets like they did against Drake in a long time. Seems when Ellis and Murry are in the game together, it's a much more lethal defense. Add Kyles in the mix and it's pretty freakin wicked. Those guys just have a knack for coming up with the strip.

                  • Don't forget to throw in JT, "The Enforcer".

I was watching Marquette beat up on Notre Dame, in front of "Halfcourt Shot Jesus" (and a national TV audience), the other day and I think they are the closest to what the Shox will soon look like.

The Marshall Plan is taking shape and I am definitely on board!!!
