    • Cedar Ridge vs Bald Knob.....wasn't one of those teams full of a bunch of mites? Watch out for that cage they call a gym.....no drive 12 foot in.

      • So, Austin and Cade scored 55 and the rest of the team scored 10...great balance.

I would really not want to play high school ball at a school named Bald Knob if my name was Smithpeters (or anything close to that).

          • Hard to say for sure what we will have with Austin. I am very much looking forward to watching his transition to and development at the D-1 level. Hopefully, he will have a great career as a Shocker and enjoy playing the hard-nosed, team oriented game that Coach Marshall demands.

That is too much to be coincidental.

I think you mean 55 and not 25?

I have seen this play for several years. Sprouting from 5-10 to his current ligitimate 6-5 ht. I have worked for college staffs including Nelson Catlina and Danny Ebbs. Coach A knows that I have a rep as an evaluator and could have handed him Reeves on a platter. The young man begged me to get The Hogs to offer. Listen naysayers, those who wonder and especially fans who have never seen him play. His Momis tall and lanky and once led the country in JUCO scoring, she was a scoring machine. His dad we recruited out of Indiana because of his basketball LQ and HEART. THIS YOUNG MAN HAS THE BEST OF BOTH!!!! He can play at any program with the need for a leader who understands how to create. He will make everyone around him better. He is a reluctant scorer. His vision is as good as I have ever seen. EVER SEEN He is a WINNER!!! There are no questions regarding his ability to play D1 basketball. He is a 17 yr old SR No leg hair, no facial hair, in short he has not hit maturity and filled out so redshirt would be a great option if a program could force themselves after practice began. Yes he is white, but those who can relate....he has a lot of brother in him and his game. Mike I told you. Coach Z has begged to offer him. Greg Marshall is a top young coach that moved quicker than the Higs. At the end of Austin visit, he and Coach M did not shake, they embraced. That showed early connections necessary between coach and PG. Mike u may have some chance, but any further delay in offer and admitted mistake in delay would be sure death of chances. W State is a wonderful program the Hogs are and have been chasing in all area for some time now. New evidence is the recruitment of Austin Reeves

                          • Perfect fit for our program. We have the luxury of being able to redshirt him. Sounds like a Ron Baker part II.
