[QUOTE=shoxlax;351696]I would figure out a way to make room for him. Besides, the way we are dropping like flies, it may not be an issue.

Video of when he first came over from Ghana. Sounds like a great kid to boot:

When Reginald Agbeko from Ghana joined this year’s St. Joe’s basketball team expectations skyrocketed. Stu Boyar spoke with head coach Mark...

I don't believe the "dropping like flies" is something you consider for next year. Carl and E.O. will both be gone, but I see no reason to believe the injuries to Baker and Wessel have anything to do with next year.

Yes, this young man looks awesome and if there is a place for him, I'd love to have it. The issue is that we currently have 14 scholarships for next year. Something has to happen with one already, and if we were to get Reggie, that makes 2. Who are you willing to give up?

Here are the 14 players who currently appear to be probable scholarship players for next year. Obviously, that is one over the limit and adding Reggie would make us 2 over.

Ron Baker, D.J. Bowles, Kadeem Coleby, Tekele Cotton, Cleanthony Early, Derail Green, Rian Holland, Chadrack Lufile, Shaquille Morris, Fred VanVleet, Earl Watson, Evan Wessel, Jake White, Nick Wiggins.

I don't mean that you saying "make room for him" is right or wrong. I'm just curious who the 2 players you personally would drop?

    Thoughts???

I could see one player on that list choosing to go elsewhere after the season. I like the kid, but could see where he may not be a major factor at any point and would wish to drop down to a lower level school similar to Hillbilly State in Springfield where he'd get much more playing time. But I don't see a 2nd one.

You have to find two that you're willing to run off/part ways with to do so. Do you have two?

First - I know nothing and have no inside connections so this is purely speculation. There may be one or two on the current roster who would be willing to pay their own way to get the right players on the team.

There was a similar situation with the beakers a few years ago with a starter.

That situation I believe involved dad being a doctor. Money was far from an issue.

Which one of these, if any, could pay their own way for one year? I don't know the income of any of their parents, but if any one could, I would think it would be Wiggins since his dad did play in the NBA.

Not going to start that firestorm on a public forum, but there are three ways obviously: players don't return, someone pays their own way and recruits never make it on campus. I could give you some scenarios via pm but it is all conjecture because I don't think we will sniff this guy. He is about to blow up.
