My main takeaway from that clip is somebody needs a 2nd set of "home white" uniforms.

I thought the same thing. Official: Black's ball. No wait, blacks ball. Probably called then White and Gold based on the color of the uniform numbers.

I've officiated games like this. Generally pick the 2nd most prominent color to call for at least one team. That's also communicated to the coaches before the game and normally the kids on the court at tip.

But it does suck and sometimes you have to stop and process before you say anything so you get it right.

A good game from Zion, beating FVV's Rockford Auburn HS team, in FVV's "Classic" tournament. I also wonder if Amir Danforth is Fred's step-brother, half-brother, or other relative? I seem to recall his step-dad's last name being Danforth?

Scrolled far enough down his X page to find this from Fred. Amir is his nephew.

Rakim Chaney is a 6'3" guard - he's either a PG or a combo, depending on different sites. He was listed in a publication out of Illinois that highlighted about 10 players in Illinois to watch for breakout seasons.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
