Doesn't seem to be in any hurry. I suspect this approach by the players is contributing to the perceived delays in obtaining commitments. Hold out as long as you can and hopefully sweeten the pot of few times or attract a new suitor willing to pay more.
That's true but players also need to realize that their options my diminish as time goes.
