I know that Lou was in the house for Semifinal Friday over in Hutch when Salt Lake won its last game of the tournament (before losing to the Fighting Heiars in the final), so this offer makes sense.

Not entirely uncommon for most Juco players these days. “Impressive” teams often wait out transfer portal guys, then high school kids, then Juco these days.

Perfect example is Terry Roberts last year. Offers from Bradley, Ark Little Rock, USF, Cleveland State, Florida Gulf Coast, SIU, Stony Brook, WSU, Fresno State, St Boneventure. He went to Bradley late and had a phenomenal year. Not saying that’s who McGriff is but these kids can fly under the radar big time.
