Bingo...I think this is a new reality that we are just now seeing. Now wether he thinks he can develop better here or there, could be the question. And one he needs to explore throughly. Unfortunately that makes the coaches job harder...how do you recruit to that timing?

May be wrong here, but I believe the only guys getting decent G League money are 5-star recruits. Jalen Green got $300K? If Dexter went he would be getting the normal G League contract and those don't pay too well.

I still think they shouldn’t lose eligibility for playing in the g league. Make the contract standard to each player for the first year, 125k/ year, eliminating the need for an agent. If they are in over their head, give them an enrollment option after 1 year, and give them 2 years of college eligibility. If they keep their grades up, they can go to school on a g league paid scholarship (room and board, a cafeteria stipend, books, tuition) worth 375k on a 2.5 gpa.

Young kids can be stupid. Give them an out, don’t make them double down on a bad decision.

This is correct. Dex will not get paid very well if he chooses the G League route. They have said that it will not be some huge thing where everyone gets the big $ and development plan. That will be reserved for VERY few.

European kids can play in pro leagues and not lose eligibility. That’s one reason people were so hyped about Asbjorn. He played on a team in Denmark with a former Bradley player. If they can do it there without messing up eligibility, why not here? It’s up to 20 kids per class. That won’t put a dent in CBB and gives the Korleone Young types a way to not totally screw up their futures.

Should have brought back Mo as walk on... Just my opinion... Leaving and coming back ain't right... But that's how things work sometimes... Work it out I suppose.

Marshall should have given the riot act to every player that entered their name into the transfer portal. Let them know that if they decide to come back that there might not be a scholarship waiting for them.
