At this point will 3G bide his time on a big man until the NCAA votes on the NCAA transfer rules. My understanding is the NCAA is meeting to discuss these proposals on April 24th and will vote on them on May 20th and at this point it appears the waiver would go into effect immediately if passed.

I assume this would expand (maybe significantly) the number of options for 3G to pursue who would be able to play immediately.

See Grant Gibbs for similar situation. AG only played in the first game of the season his freshman year and I believe in the first 5 games of the next season before season ending should injuries.

He received a medical redshirt for one of those years. He could apply for an extra year ala Grant Gibbs.

I wish there were more highlights available for Russell Tchewa. I’d like to see how well he moves around on defense and what kind of rim protecting skills he possesses. I guess he’s 7’0 and doesn’t look like a total stick in the mud from what I can see so I imagine they’re decent?

Who knows if we even have a chance to get him but these are the things I wonder. A 4* big man would be a rare sighting at WSU, right?
