January 2018: VanVleet and his long-time girlfriend, Shontai Neal, celebrated the birth of their first child, a daughter, late Sunday evening in Toronto.
May 2019: That's right Fred and his longtime high school girlfriend Shontai Neal gave birth to a baby boy, Fred Jr., the night before. Congrats to Fred and Shontai. Will they plan on having another kid for next year's playoffs? We'll have to wait and see.
