Yes, it is D-II. They are a member of the South Atlantic Conference.

Question: Are we that interested in a player getting offers from D-II schools? That in itself does not preclude Oshon from being a D-I quality player. It does make you wonder if he is has the D-I goods or not.

He's getting a number of D1 looks so I'm not too worried. He's got a nice body from what I've gathered but needs to be more consistent. This summer will tell us a lot.

I think we all like to see our recruits getting offers from other D-1 schools however to say "we can do better" at this point is premature. His recruiting may blow up this summer and we may only get a shot at him because we are on him early.

Also, IIRC, god-Odum-god was not recruited by anyone and initially was going to walk on at ISUb. Our own Ron Baker wasn't recruited by anyone and by all accounts - is considered a stud.

Recruiting is not an exact science. I doubt that our staff backs off of anyone because no one else is recruiting him.

And I believe he had some sort of knee injury which may have slowed his recruiting some.
