I think I just changed my mind about "tall" guards. :glee: :yahoo:

Friend from Colorado says this kid is great. That we will love him if we can get him to come here. I trust his hoops opinion.

After watching him in Vegas Bosi says Carlton "is an attractive option on the mid to upper mid-major level. At 6-2, he's very athletic, and is a rentless driver of the basketball. How steady he can become with his jumper will have an impact on his recruiting. Wichita State and Colorado State are among those taking early looks.

So Bossi has a new category into which WSU presumably falls -- the "upper mid-major"? How does an upper mid compare to a lower high, I wonder? Certainly Marshall and some of his coaching brethren seem to prefer WSU, Butler, Gonzaga, VCU, etc., to a lot of "power conference" (i.e., lower high) jobs -- maybe it's the same with players, too.

Too bad he's rated below Marshall's normal recruiting target. Maybe Marshall sees something Bosi missed.

@Aargh: that's probably the same description he'd have given FVV, Hawkins and Green.

An article saying WSU is interested but has not offered. It lists Hurst's offers from Buffalo, Colorado State, New Mexico and Wyoming with other interested schools being Nebraska, Nevada, Northern Colorado, Pepperdine and St. Mary's. Expect a November signing and probably no verbal until after visits in the Fall.

I will put a question mark on his offer in the thread title.

Hurst will visit Tim Miles' Nebraska. He might of already been off the board if Miles was still at CSU. According to the article the Shockers have heavy interest but have not offered. At this time Hurst's top four are Colorado State, Nebraska, Saint Mary's and Wyoming.
