Sounds like WSU is recruiting Kadary as a 2020 prospect, so it looks like he might take a prep year following this season.

This is another forward that could either go 2019 or 2020. I’m sure there are several schools trying to get him into ‘19.

What’s the priority for 2020? Do we look for another wing or go Big?

Only need three guys to play center in my mind. That’s why GM said one of the freshman bigs should redshirt next year. Maybe you need a fourth guy that is a forward but could play in a pinch if someone gets injured. I’d say wing is top priority and then possibly a guard also depending on where the roster attrition hits.

Does Redshirting someone open up a scholarship?
does that same athlete still get that Redshirting yr paid for?

The athlete is still on scholarship during a redshirt year. Just like if someone was injured.

So by RS one of the 2 freshmen center , will that allow us to pick up 1 more using scholarship ?

No, they will still be on scholarship. We have all 13 scholarships spoken for unless someone else were to leave or de-commit.

A 6-8, 225 lb stretch 4 is what I would go for next year.
