      His prep year was at Mack Academy in Charlotte this year. Hofstra, Charlotte, Fordham, Rhode Island, Rice, and Vermont have been involved.

        Found this from a summer camp:

        Osamuede Egharevba ’11 Queen City Prep (NC): At 6’6″, Egharevba was able to score in numerous fashions; knocking down outside jump-shots as well as finishing around the rim with either hand. The former Thomas Edison star showcased his versatility while on the court.

            This blogger had him as the No. 2 performer at the iS8/Nike Spring High School Classic in NYC played on Saturday.

            The last time we saw Egharevba, he needed to hone his raw talent into something smoother and more marketable. However, Egharevba’s game is exactly that now – smooth.

            The 6-foot-6 forward showed an improved midrange jumpshot, 3-point shooting form and strength off the glass. The former Thomas Edison player, who is now a post-grad at Mack Academy (N.C.), has evolved into a do-it-all guy on the floor from rebounds off the defensive and offensive glass to scoring from the inside-out. These improved qualities in his game were clearly evident on the court on Saturday. His high-intensity play carried over from his years as a player for the PSAL “AA” league, showed against both his squad’s opponents.

            Despite the loss, Egharevba had a 24-point performance against MetroHawks. And, in the victory, his 16-point effort in the contest against Mountain B-Ball paced Raising Champions.

              It appears there are three very good recruits considering WSU. Any of them would be great pick ups for the Spring. Two are considering other very high level schools and one is being sought by solid non BCS programs.

                This is exciting to me. Hope I'm not being too "juvenile" by being interested in what happens during the offseason. ;-)

                I still expect 2 incoming.
