I guess Tennessee fans haven't figured out that Martin is just going after those he has a chance for because of his efforts at MSU.

If I am a juco player with only two years left I have to take into consideration possible NCAA penalties. Don't I?
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

The MVC doesn't have many big PF's who play a dominating inside game. Most of the tall PF's are finesse players.

It's not big stretch to use someone like Landry at PF for a lot of Valley matchups. Maybe an undersized PF is the best available option at that spot.

There are a number of PFs in the Valley that play primarily on the perimeter, so it certainly isn't unreasonable.

Aaron and Gabe were both useful in their ability to play perimeter defense, and it certainly is possible that Landry could take some of the match-ups that those two took last year, while playing SF against other squads.

Per his Twitter account ... Landry is on a plane to Spokane about right now.

              :(

We need to add Gonzaga as a late entry. He's having boring layovers getting there. Perhaps it will put him in a bad mood.

Gonzaga needs to be laying off WSU juco recruits, lol.

Last year it was that kid from three rivers.

I don't have a good feeling about getting him now

                        :)

It is time. Unfortunately we also are missing half our coaching staff. Any idea who is recruiting him at Gonzaga? Maybe we could pull him and a couple recruits like the guy that went to Creighton.

                        • That point guard from Austin chose Tulsa because of PT.

I think Landry will commit elsewhere as well due to not being a starter/less PT.

For a JUCO player with only 2 years of eligibility remaining, going to a school with 5 seniors and plenty of players expecting time just doesn't sound tempting.

IMO any available schollies we have left will go to freshmen with patience.

                          • Dunno why the point guard chose Tulsa, but I think Landry would start here, next year.

That would be great if he could start here next year, but he would have to beat out 2 of the 3: Murry, Kyles, and Smith. Maybe he could, but I am skeptical. None the less, I think he would be a great addition!!!

                              • Landry would be my choice to sign of all the recruits left unsigned that we know about. If we sign still one more recruit, I would like to also sign a solid big man. Even if we did not sign anybody, we would be fine. However, with 2 Seasons of losing 5 Seniors, it would be nice to get 2 more solid players in the rotation mix, followed by the very best recruiting Season in Shocker History under Coach Marshall to fill and reload these forthcoming plentiful voids.
