Amazes me how much better of a product this is than Shockervision.

Midland holds on to win by four.

Box score has him 6/6 from the field including 2/2 from three point range. He doesn't do much else to fill the stat line, but he can shoot it.

That box score also shows two players with 6 fouls, including Landry.

I missed the first half live. Just watched the first part of the first half on replay. Landry putting on a show. Hitting 3s and making nice drives.

Just returned from Hutch. My take on Guy, and I am about a 0.5 on the 0-10 scale of basketball knowledge and scouting. He is very smooth offensively. His passes for the most part are snappy and accurate. He had one lazy pass picked off for a deuce. He shares the ball well. Can 3-ball it or short range jumper.

Defensively, on switches on screens where his man is picked up by a teammate, he scrambled to recover to his man and IGNORES his teammate's man, leaving two men guarding his man and nobody on his teammate's man. I saw this at least four times.

I don't know that I ever saw him touch a ball on a rebound, let alone grab one. Just seemed to have no nose for the ball whatsoever. He could get quickly from the 3-line to the hoop, but never got into good position where he could touch the ball, if even to just keep it alive

If Gregg can teach that rebounding instinct, OK. But in the MVC, I would expect he'd get two rebounds per 40 minutes.

that could be a communication problem between the two defenders though. also could a be a coaching problem.

Midland won again tonight, but I've yet to see the boxscore appear online.

They will play next on Friday night, at 6pm I believe.

Maybe rebounding isn't a problem. That's real good news.

15 points for Landry, several of them coming in a late rally that fell short. He was named to the tournament's top 12 players team.
