I was director of operations at Coors of Kansas back then and we had several football players that worked for us during the summer. Jumpy was one of them one summer. To say he was a large man would be the biggest under statement of my life. He was however one of the most humble polite young man you would ever want to meet.
Jay Hull had more than a cup of coffee with the Steelers I believe. Good guy, great family. That sunny afternoon in Lawrence was a lot of fun. KState really knocked us around later in the season but the win over the asshats was more than worth the tough trip to Manhattan. Great find!
