The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

    • Way back when, I think during the summertime, RDR speculated that this may be our most deep team in terms of quality depth ever. If not, it is among the best thus far. Those last two bench scoring efforts almost seem unprecedented for WSU?

      Mo State wins tonight.

Creighton will most likely win tonight.

        • Speaking of quality depth, it was great to see EO in the house tonight. 3 of our post-players struggled with fouls. That is the luxury of going at least 5 deep inside and I hope EO keeps getting better because we will need him. Tuesday night, we play Drake. Pain!!!!!!!

              • KC Shox--You observation was short, sweet, and too the point. We have not had a very good track record at Peoria for a spell until tonight. We'll take it!!!!!!!

                • The 1st half, we were clanking and chucking 3's with not much positive results. We had a Shocker foul fest that kept Bradley believing. Bradley scored their 1st 8 points with easy inside shots. The 2nd half we settled down as Gabe and Kyles took charge. Our offense was much better which resulted in easier and wide-open shots. We played better defense without so much ever-loving fouling!!!!!!!

In Maui I talked briefly to Smith and Murry who we standing next to each other. Smith may be slightly shorter than Murry.

                    • Ben is a good rebounder and his shot is really coming on!!!!!!! I am getting sick and I am getting tired of underestimating these Shocks.

                      • Every game that passes I become more and more confident of Murry running the point. He is looking to pass and create first and score second. Those two passes to Smith down low were fastballs right on the money.

Ben Smith is slowly but surely becoming my favorite player on this team. He doesn't do one thing great but he does everything well.

Defense is the key for this team. If they play defense like they did in the 2nd half in all of their games then going undefeated in league play isn't that far of a stretch.

I feel bad for Andrew Warren.

                        That is all.

                        • Biggest win in Peoria since 1970. That, preceded by WSU's largest margin of victory since 1973 in the win over Evansville, is really saying something. But they'll still need a full 40 minutes to win in Omaha, Springfield, Cedar Rapids, etc..

sidenote: Bradley would be a serious dark-horse to win the Valley post-season tourney if they had Maniscalco and Brown. Tough break for them.

                          • The Shocks have shown a proneness of being resilient versus some pretty tough opposition. Examples are being behind 18-2 versus Virginia and winning handily. Also, LSU and Tulsa made some tough runs on us where we took some hits, but did not self-destruct. Tonight, some nice adjustments were made the 2nd half that helped us win a Valley road game.

Bradley circa 1970...I remember a little scrappy guard named Frank Sylvester. Seemed like about 5-5, but a fun guard to watch.

                              • Also, after falling behind big to Virginia, the Shox outscored them 60-something to 30-something the rest of the way. 'Shox putting up some good numbers so far this year.
