Greetings, Shockers! I've been following you guys all season (as I have since '06) and am pleased to see you doing so well.
I just had a glance at that Bracketbusters forecasting site (http://www.rpiforecast.com/bb.html). They currently have WSU and GMU as the 4th-ranked teams on the home and away BB lists, respectively.
I know it's WAY to early to project, but wouldn't that be something to get another matchup between our schools?
Hope you're all well and enjoyed the holidays. Have a great remainder of the season. I'll certainly stop by again as things heat up as we head toward the BB and NCAAs.
Cheers,
GoGMU

Why leave it to chance? I'll call our coach, you call yours, and we can schedule up a home-and-away series like a couple of NCAA sweet-16 and final-four prospects should!
See, wasn't that easy?
This is definitely a rematch I would like to see too. But no more Skinn-ey 3 point daggers at the Chuck please.

Always nice to see ya stop in GoGMU. The Pats are looking pretty salty as well. I would LOVE for a BB rematch. I have a lot of respect for the GMU fans, posters, and program.
Keep on winnin' and hopefully we'll follow suit.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Great to hear from you my friend! I would thoroughly enjoy the match-up. If we're lucky enough to make the pairing and you make the trip west the first round is on me! I would even recreate the tricolored balloons for you. I would enjoy making the journey east for the return trip. All the best.
If we take care of business this week we will get our best home game of the year as a result of bracket busters. Is anybody still confused about the opportunity this will present for the shockers if they can be one or two in the valley?
Normaly I give the Bracket Busters about as much worth as bucket of warm spit. This year, I think it is imperative that WSU and MSU win their games. Hopefully against CAA teams. CAA is looking like a multi-bid league, if we can steal one of theirs that bodes well. Of course, WSU and MSU need to finish 1-2, preferably in that order.
I don't get how you would blow bb off in most years (except in years where we suck). Ask GMU fans if they care. I can assure you their final four run would have never happened without their bracket buster win at koch.

How many times has BB mattered to us? I guess you could say it mattered in terms of seeding in '06. It mattered a little bit last year, I think it was our last shot at an at-large. Seems like it doesn't matter to us in "most years."

It always seems that when the BB game matters, we have a scheduled away game. :( It's nice to know this year will be different.
