        • After beating Indy State tonight our rpi according to warren nolan improves to 47. SWOMO is at 36, UNI at 71 and Indy State at 86.

Tonight was our first win over a top 100 team. We should get 4 more chances (@UNI, @MoST, @Indy st. and BB at home) . Le'ts win them all.

Real time rpi has WSU at 47 today and Warren Nolan has the Shocks at 45. I think Warren Nolan (in spite of the name) is the more up to date number.

45 is about where we finished last year. If we can win those remaining 4 top 100 games on our schedule we have a real opportunity to finish with a significantly better rpi than last year. We only have 2 rpi killing games left on the schedule.

Lunardi still has the Shox in as an at-large birth, this time in the "last four in" category. Has us as a 12 seed play-in game vs. UCLA. The winner would get Florida (a 5 seed) in the Chicago region.

Missouri St. dropped to an 11 seed also this week.

I'll take it. The Valley still projected to get 2 bids after both leaders lost last week.

                • If the same team that wins the Valley, wins the Lou, the Valley could very well get that 1 team only. Otherwise, we have a shot for 2 teams, I hope.

To close to call right now. There are now 3 MVC teams that have some chance for an at-large bid.

                      • Lunardi's latest bracketology- January 31- still has both SWOMO and WSU IN.

WSU is one of the last 4 in with a 12 seed. SWOMO is an 11 seed. There is no mention of UNI yet.

I am just happy to be receiving votes right now. That puts us at #38.

It's funny how K-State is still showing as a 10 seed in the West.
                              Other interesting pairings:
'Zags v Butler, and two WSUs going against each other.

                              • Just checked the Warren Nolan rpis. Tulsa's win tonight puts them into the top 100, giving WSU a top 100 win!

After the Bears lost to UE tonight, their rpi fell to 49, UNI sits at 50 and the SHOCKERS AT #38!

If the Bears and UNI can hang in the top 50, it will give us at least two more chances for a top 50 win.
